Das Lambda-Konzept
I have been promoting the idea of the Loosmobil for years now and some people already think it is an „idee-fixe“ of mine.
Remember: in 1923 the seminal 20th-century architect Adolf Loos designed a omewhat bizarre body for a Lancia: the design consists of three different levels, a bit like terraces (a recurrent idea in Loos‘ architecture)

So it is quite a satisfaction to find a Rolls Royce bodied in the 30’s by a renowned British Coachbuilder, James Young, which features Loos‘ ideas!

This is a 1935 ROLLS-ROYCE 20-25 JAMES YOUNG SHOOTING BRAKE GREEN and CREAM w/ BROWN int. 6 CYLINDER 3 SPD.
This extraordinary automobile was delivered new for use as a hunting car in Rhodesia. It was seized by the Germans during the war & utilized as a staff car. This car here was nicely restored and in its present configuration is a „Cocktail Brake“.

Now called „Cocktail Brake“
Is more of this out there?
