18. RFM-Meeting in Cuneo

18. RFM-Meeting in Cuneo

12 Jun, 2016

Grazie mille, Lorena, Ezio, Valentina, Nicolò e Daniel.

There were two official languages used during the meeting and for the communication before and after: Italian and English. Of course we all should speek or understand Italian, but ….

I also don’t speak Italian and my English is also poor. But for this report try to translate it into English for our friends north of Italy.

RFM-Meeting 2016 – vor dem Hotel in Valdieri

In our Internet-Site lancianews we publish reports on the RFM-meetings since 2002 and had explained what we do at the meetings all over Europe: to meet one time a year, to see Fulvia-friends and very interesting points in the landscape selected by local Fulvia-owners in Italy, Netherlands and Austria. So we met in Cremona, Toskana, Barolo, Elsass, Vienna, Friaul, Vicenza, Wachau in Austria and in 2016 in Cuneo.

In 2016 we came together in Caraglio near the capital of the province Cuneo, about 120 km south of Torino. As we have been advised we all came with our Fulvias: five Berlinas, six S1 Coupés, eight S2/3 Coupés, one Flavia Sport, three Delta integrale, one Fiat 125 and one Alfa GTA/Stratos Stradale from Ireland, Great Britain, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria and – of course – from Italy.

  • Visit of the Royal Spa in Valdieri in the Vallo Gesso, a power plant, the wildlife center „Uomini e lupi“ and the workshop „I Lauri“ near Demonte with tasting
  • Visit of the Town Cuneo with guidance and Aperitif/appetizer in the „Pastery-Café Arione“

Our friends from Cuneo – Lorena, Ezio, Valentina, Nicolò and Daniel – made for us a wonderful meeting: perfect organization, comfortable hotel, too much to eat and drink in perfect quality – only the rain 1was sometimes a little bit too heavy. But all the guest were happy in the Piedmont and thank the organizers with applause. We had seen a part of Italy most of us didn’t know – on Sunday came the sun and we could see the wonderful mountains round Cuneo covered with snow.
